Leather bound series: from Lee Child and Bernard Cornwall, to Terry Goodkind and Phillip Pullman.
This set of 22 First Edition Lee Child novels was sourced by Richard who enjoys the challenge of finding the complete works of any given author.
In order to transform the books, we started by removing their existing cases. We then selected an appropriate shade of leather to match the existing book dust jacket, and colour-matched complementary endpapers. We gilded the three outer edges in gold, and matched top and tail bands to complete the look.
Other collections that we have sourced for rebinding include Bernard Cornwall’s historical fiction series, about the character Richard Sharpe: Waterloo, Honour, Revenge, Siege and Regiment. Leather bound in dark green goatskin, to reflect the rifleman's jacket colours.
Another excellent series that we rebound was The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind: all books were rebound in a uniform style, in different coloured leathers (see picture).
