Book of the Year 2017

A Ludlow Bookbinders production wins Book of the Year at the British Book Design and Production awards.

Ludlow Bookbinders is very proud to have produced the winner of Book of the Year: Havana by Leslie Gerry Editions.

The British Book Design and Production awards, which are organized by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), have entries from a large range of British publishers. These publishers have their books produced by the best printers and binders from all over the world.

The awards exist to identify and celebrate the skill, creativity and craftsmanship behind the best designed and produced books the industry has to offer.

There were 664 entries, so winning Book of the Year 2017 is a truly magnificent achievement.

 The judges commented:

The beautifully crafted Havana book is in a class of its own. The dedication, time and effort put into producing this stunning book is what sets it apart…pure elegance.

Paul Kidson, MD of Ludlow Bookbinders, comments:

We are delighted that Havana has won this award.
The production sums up our ethos at Ludlow Bookbinders: quality built on tradition.
We exist to make beautiful books that will last.
